Currency And Exchange Rate: The Republic of Uzbekistan’s official currency is the Uzbekistan Som; it has an average exchange rate of 1 USD = 12,931 UZS. Foreign currencies can be exchanged in banks, currency exchange offices and major hotels.

Electricity: The Republic of Uzbekistan operates on a 220-supply voltage, 50 Hz, AC two-pin plugs.

Climate: The first month of the summer, June, is a warm month in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with temperature in the range of an average temperature of 25.5 °C (77.9°F).

Language: Uzbek is the official language of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Russian and English are widely spoken.

• Public Service Offices: Open from 09:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday).
• Banks: Open from 09:00 to 16:00 00 (Monday to Friday).
• Companies: Open from 09:00 to 18:00 or from 08:00 to 17:00 from (Monday to Friday).
• Shops are open every day from 08:00 to 21:00.
• The weekly days off: Saturday and Sunday.
