Important agreements and memorandums were signed on the second day of the Tashkent International Investment Forum

The second day of the III Tashkent International Investment Forum turned out to be very successful. More than 10 investment contracts were signed with such companies as ACWA Power, Data Volt Information Technology Company, MUFG Bank, Masdar, Al Bawani Capital Company and SWS. The Ministry of Digital Technology, the Ministry of Energy and Data Volt Information Technology Company have reached an agreement to build a data center based on green technology. The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov and Data Volt Director Rajit Nanda. Another not less important agreement: the Committee of Roads and Al Bawani Capital Company signed an agreement on the construction of the Syrdarya-Bakht bypass road and reconstruction of the road leading from Tashkent to Samarkand. A memorandum was also signed on the project of construction and management of heat supply system in New Tashkent. The signing ceremony was attended by Bakhrom Rizaev, Deputy Director of New Tashkent Construction Directorate, and Suleiman Ahlili from Saudi Tabrid, a Saudi company. An agreement on the construction of a 127 km long high-voltage electric line "Sarimoy-Jonkeldi" was signed between the director of AJ "O'zbekiston milliy elektr tarmoqlari" Yunus Kurbonov and the representative of Sara Energy Insaat Ticaret ve Sanayi and Sara Technology from Turkey Omir Ajibas. A power purchase agreement was signed between Sobirjon Artikov, director of AJ "O'zbekiston milliy elektr tarmoqlari" and Basma Bentager, development director of BAA AMEA Power, for the construction of a 1,000 megawatt wind power plant in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. A memorandum on reconstruction of thermal power plant and introduction of regenerative technologies was signed between the Chairman of AJ "Issiqlik elektr stansiyalari" Bakhodir Juraev and Sinan Akgul. In addition, several agreements were signed on the development of industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, automobile production and other sectors in Uzbekistan. Local and foreign partners unanimously noted that the signed agreements will contribute to the development of investment ties in the future. Experts emphasized that such agreements not only improve the business environment, but also create new opportunities for international cooperation.
